Rosscarbery OB Inl Nat – 14/05/16

The first big race of the NIPA season was the Rosscarbery Inland Nat flown last Saturday 14th May, just over 5,200 birds were released at 8.00am in a Lt Easterly wind. Gerald Delaney of Oroory Hill Stud in Dromore had a dream result with two birds together winning 1st & 2nd Open NIPA plus £1,500. 1st Club Rosscarberry Nat flying 260 miles doing 1295. An excellent week for O’Roory Hill Stud of Mr & Mrs G Delaney, 1st & 2nd Open, Rosscarberry Old Bird National 1st, 2nd, 7th Section G. The winning bird also won 1st Section G last week from Fermoy – a Direct Willy Jacobs that they have now named “Champion Willy’s Pride”.
