Last weekend NIPA were competing from the new race point of Gowran Park Racecourse in Kilkenny, seems to have been a good success. East Antrim lofts filled the top places, Gregg Bros & McCandless of Titanic HPS and D & J Campbell from Eastway took 1st & 2nd Open NIPA with 19,174 birds competing.
Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman and Chairman of the Stormont Public Accounts Committee, has “warmly welcomed” the announcement from Stormont’s Finance Minister Mairtin O’Muilleoir that pigeon clubs will now receive rates relief the same as other sporting venues. This was announced during a visit by the Minister to the Cullybackey HPS in Co Antrim.
