McComb Bros top the East Down Combine –

Second race for the East Down Combine, birds were released in Tullamore at 10.00am in a North wind, McComb Bros of Killyleagh Central won 1st & 2nd Open with 5,727 birds competing. Rab Hunter of Ballynahinch had a fantastic result winning 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the West Sect followed by M & A Johnston who won both Ballylesson and Newtownbreda.

East Down Combine started the season with a race from #Mullingar, liberation was at 9.15am in a helping SW wind. Ballylesson had a big result and a fantastic start for ace racer John Patterson who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd Open doing velocities 1910, 1906 and 1905.
