The Irish National Flying Club is open to all lofts across Ireland, the membership in 2003 was just over 2,200 lofts. The management committee of 30 has equal representation from both the RPRA (Irish Region) and Irish Homing Union.

The top race of every season is the Blue Riband Kings Cup, in 2004 the race was flown from Messac.
