| The
N.I.P.A was founded in 1945 and it's membership was
open to all members within Northern Ireland with the
exception of Pigeon fanciers within the Belfast City
Boundary. This rule on the exclusion of Belfast fanciers
stayed in the rule book until approx 1999. The N.I.P.A
has now no restrictions on any fanciers within Northern
Ireland joining our organisation. Presently we have
approx 100 clubs as members and over 2000 members.
Pigeon competing each week can reach 25,000 to 30,000
thousand, depending on the race. |
