The NIPA have received a letter of Notification from the Animal Health and Welfare Division of DARD stating that a case of Paramyxo has been found in a pigeon from the Coleraine area would all members please ensure that ALL pigeons in their lofts are vaccinated against PMV1

BIRDS FOR TALBENNY WILL BE RACEMARKED ON FRIDAY – USUAL TIMES & PICK UPS – FOR A POSSIBLE RELEASE ON SUNDAY – WEATHER PERMITTING

BIRDS FOR ROSCREA COMEBACK DETAILS WILL BE CONFIRMED LATER.

A come back race is planned for this weekend and further details will be released later today.

Please disregard the information on racing from Fermoy this weekend.

Irish SR Federation – The isrf are marking friday for a sunday lib in truro.

East Down Combine Update – The NIPA have changed their decision on Talbenny Hampering. Hampering for the East Down Combine Talbenny Derby will now take place on Friday 29th August for a race on Sunday 31st August. Hampering Times at Centres for Talbenny will be brought forward 1 Hour Collection Times at Centres will be as follows: Portavogie 5.15pm with Hampering for Talbenny starting at 4.00pm. Newtownbreda 6.30pm starting at 5.30pm, Crossgar 6.30pm starting at 5.30pm. Subject to the weather committee decision tonight. Hampering of Skibbereen Birds – All Centres will not start until Talbenny Hampering is Completed.

Ulster Federation Update – The Fed are going to Talbenny. 100% also race marking on Saturday usual times for a race from Kildare on Sunday.

The NIPA have decided not to race mark for Talbenny or the Roscrea comeback this week due to the possibility of very strong winds on the Irish sea so instead the Fermoy 5 Bird has been brought forward to this week race marking in your clubrooms on Friday night , please ensure that there are 2 members from another club present during the race marking procedure and entry fees can be paid on Friday night.

East Down Combine: Reminder to fanciers competing in the East Down Combine Breeder/Buyer, it take place this week from Skibbereen.

The racemarking night for Talbenny and Roscrea has not been settled upon yet when this has been decided the website will be updated

The following are the collection times at centres for Talbenny and Roscrea comeback

Derry 4.15 , Coleraine  5.30 , Cullybackey 6.30 , Muckamore 7.00 , Doagh 7.45 , Larne 8.30 , Carrick 9.15 .

Coalisland 5.30 , Loughgall 6.15 , Portadown 7.00 , Lurgan 7.45 , Ligoniel 8.30 , Lisburn 9.15 , Dromore 10.00 , Newry 10.30 .

Killyleagh 7.30 ,

Other collection points for Roscrea are Ards 8.15 Limavady if requested 5.00 , Ballymoney 6.00 , Horseshoe if requested 8.45 , Banbridge  10.15 , Millvale if requested 10.45.

Please note that all clubs MUST have 2 members from another club present for racemarking in the Fermoy 5 Bird or alternatively arrange to racemark at another club to comply with the race conditions for this race, if the arrangement is to racemark at another club the NIPA headquarters need to be advised so the lorries can be tasked accordingly.

Derry, Limavady, Coleraine , Ballymoney , Cullybackey , Larne , Horseshoe , Doagh ,Muckamore , Carrick , Ligoniel , Lisburn , Dromore , Banbridge , Newry , Millvale , Coalisland , Loughgall , Edgarstown , Lurgan , Killyleagh , Ards ( if reqd ) any pick up point not sending to this race please advise Nipa Headquarters. Any club that received a letter stating that they wouldn’t be collected please disregard that letter and collection will be as normal
