The Coleraine based North Coast Classic, the One Loft Race that has been going for a few years are looking forward to another good season of Hot Spot races. Birds are being trained most days depending on the weather conditions, the first Hot Spot planned for Sunday had to be cancelled due to the weather and it is hoped to have the race this week, possibly Tuesday from Monaghan (70 miles). A Hot Spot event is due each Sunday, 4th August Tullamore (115 miles), 11th August Roscrea (150 miles), 18th August Thurles (175 miles), 25th August Clonmel (196 miles), 1st September Roscrea (150 miles), North Coast Classic Final on Sunday 8th September from Rosscarbery in County Cork (265 miles). Hi All Sean has decided that the race will go ahead tomorrow as planned, it is our intention to get them loaded at 4,30 so we can get them to the race point as early as possible, the forecast looks to be ok in the morning with it starting to break around midday we are planning for a 8.30 lib the race point being Monaghan approx 70 miles to the loft.A special thanks to Alan Dunbar for making the trip from Dublin he will be there at the marking of the birds
