My final post on this year's race is summed up with the words of Sean at tonight's presentation. Thank you to everyone who entered pigeons into this year's race, who supported the NCC and to those who came to a very enjoyable day at the lofts. As Sean said, it was great to see so many different people and some new faces.

May I personally take the liberty on behalf of all of us who entered pigeons into the race to thank Sean, Adrian, Paul and Willie for a great and successful racing program. In terms of OLR the percentage of returns beats nearly every other olr in these islands, it is certainly up there with the best of them; a testament to the care, dedication and commitment that goes into caring for, preparing and strengthening of the birds.

The NCC is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your birds. They are raced on a very level playing field and tested equally, bird against bird, loft against loft. The condition that the birds where in was second to none. Some did break into the moult just before the final, but they where all sent for the task at hand and in the best condition possible. That was down to Matt Kelly. Matt was like a German well oiled machine in looking after and preparing our birds, hat off to him for his dedication and commitment, it's greatly appreciated by all of us.

Here's to NCC 2020 - Michael Rabbett PO
