Post by willie reynolds »

Rasharkin & District dine in Ballymoney – On my second visit to the prize night of Rasharkin & District the venue was changed, last time it was Clough Rangers Social Club while this time the attendance doubled at the Ballymoney British Legion. Chairman Harold cubit welcomed the members and friends and said they were pleased to record visitors from not only County Antrim but also Counties Londonderry and Tyrone. Homer and Rosie were included in the welcome and the members appreciated the vast coverage given over the past race season when the members recorded a massive 14 x 1sts in the Mid Antrim Combine. Danny Dixon won 6 x 1sts, and after that J & M Milliken 5 x 1sts, W & J McLean 2 x 1sts and a single victory for Freddie Barkley.
