The IHUNFC held their first race of the year from Valentia on Saturday 11th.
With 1646 Birds competing.
Taking First and Second was Ryan Crampton a young fancier from Monisterevin.
Dwane Brennan (Brennan Bros) had a fantastic race taking the next six positions, David Dwyer from Kilkenny takes 9th, with 10th going to the in form loft of Reggie Condron. All section "C".
Jimmy Hammilton from New Ross had a great race, taking the first three positions in Section "B".
Section "D" was won by Michael Pepper in Dunmore East, Pat Maher, Dungarven takes 2nd in section "D" with Marcus Power from Waterford in 3rd.
This weekend coming see's the second Valentia National, with unsettled weather forecast, the day has'nt been decided yet, a decision will be made by Thursday lunchtime.
