Eastway loft best in East Antrim -
Last weekend the local birds were in Rosscarbery a last minute change when the NIPA decided to cancel the cross channel event from Bude due to poor weather conditions, rain in County Cork delayed the liberation until 11.20am in a fresh SW wind. Despite the poor conditions at the home end the winning birds made very good time. The high flying D & J Campbell & Bigger team from Eastway recorded velocity 1751 and top the NIPA Sect C finishing a good 3rd Open NIPA with 8,600 birds competing. They were followed by the top two in Ligoniel & Dist McManus & Mullan and N & G Townsley & Son.
