The Ulster Federation were in Thurles for their 4th race of the season . The birds were liberated on Friday
9th May 2014 at 9.30 am into a westerly wind . Top bird this week belongs to the partnership of Fegan &
McAdorey of Alexandra club . This was a well deserved win as these guys have been racing out of their skins
all season to date . All of their Ulster Fed winners , over recent seasons , are bred through their belgie family
but this weeks winner is something different . On the look out for something different , the partnership paid a
visit to Oroory Hill Stud - Mr & Mrs Gerald Delaney - Dromore - last season . While there they were really
impressed and purchased 4 youngsters to try out. This weeks winner , one of the four , has more than repaid
their efforts . Their latest Ulster Federation winner is a lovely blue cheq pied cock . This cock has now won 3 x
1sts having previously topped the club as a youngster from Mallow into a n/w wind and was a winner of 1st
club Kildare 9th Ulster Fed earliar in the season . His latest win proudly reads 1st Open Ulster Fed Thurles.
Breeding is the very best of the Oroory Cream Crackers - Willy Jacobs - crossed with their famous Grondelaer
family . Congratulations to the partnership on your latest Ulster Fed win . S McGarry PO.
