The Ulster Federation were in Bude on Saturday 31st May and were liberated in conjunction with the NIPA . Top bird in the Ulster Fed this week in , without doubt , the hardest race of the season , was Peter Strong , who races in Wheatfield . The race itself turned out to be something special for Peter for apart from topping the club & Ulster Fed he also broke his novice status . What a way to break your duck , topping the Ulster Fed for good measure . Peters latest winner , now named " Catherines Hope" , is a yearling blue cheq hen , sent to the race feeding 2 youngsters . Breeding : Sire - Bred by Billy Wallace - Cork - Dam - Bred by Alan Craig - Tandragee . On finishing I would like to congratulate Peter on Breaking his novice status and topping the Ulster Fed from Bude . Well Done !!! S McGarry PO.
