The weather these last few days has taken a turn for the better and the pigeons seem to approve of it . They are all together now and are exercising in 3 to 4 groups with some of them flying freely for up to 2 hrs . Sean then lets them free trap until time for feeding when they are called in . Their health and condition is first class and will remain on the dark until the end of the month as Sean finds if he takes them off sooner they start to break up in the moult before the final . Today Jimmy McSeveney very kindly photographed our ventures and these should be on site asap .

The NCC would like to congratulate D&J Armstrong on an outstanding performance from Rosscarbery on Sunday when competing against over 11,ooo pigeons Jim finished 2nd and 3rd open with 5 more in the first 41 open positions . Jim competes in the NCC under Armstrong & McCrudden who were first and 3rd ace pigeons last year and won a hotspot .

Horrible ,cold and wet weather up here on the north coast at the moment . The youngsters are enjoying their freedom daily and are exercising well . Their health and condition is very good . They are still on the dark system with them in varying degrees of body moult with indeed the earliest entrants looking like yearlings .
