The 3rd race of the old bird season was again a good success despite birds having been released in a Lt Northerly wind, just short of 27,000 birds were competing. For the second week the Newry & Dist had the early arrivals, well done to B Wood & Son 1st Open, J J McCabe 2nd & 3rd and Ron McKelvy 4th. Next week the birds will be in Fermoy followed by Corrin.
