Irish SR Federation are in Barleycove today. No word until after 12. sorry hold over. Birds will be liberated at 8.00am Sunday 2nd July, good luck all.
Do please remember the deadline for the RPRA Meritorious Awards in each NIPA Section must be claimed within two weeks of the race, that’s Saturday 1st July. Individual bird performance over two cross channel races Talbenny (2) & Penzance.
Claims for the Old Birds should also be made to the NIPA Average Cups, Fancier of the Year etc. The fact only 10 birds were timed in St Malo will have a big influence. All cups and trophies need returned as well to Fred Russell, things starting early this season. Clubs need Race Sheets, Allocation Sheets, Vaccination Sheets etc two weeks before racing, that's this weekend for that deadline. A mountain of work for officials putting on rings etc. I had a note from Cullybackey HPS they will open club-rooms on Monday 3rd July for all members.

The pigeons have been held over this is due to low cloud and drizzle from the north coast of France to Sennen Cove.
We will update this evening with information on the Friendship National race marking which will now not take place on Tuesday.

The pigeons have been released at 07:20 in a light and variable wind which will turn South Westerly on route.
