Hotspot 3 Navan

We are in Navan for our third hotspot tomorrow , weather forecast is good with a light south west wind . We hope to liberate around 9 am but the North Road Leinster Fed are in Carrickmacross 20 miles North of us and arrangements are in place to liaise with them for the benefit of both parties . A special thanks to Colm Keatings , Pat Maher , Francis Corcoran and the N R L Fed for all their help . Birds not going to Hotspot 3 are Gb 17 b 20230 , Gb 17 L 31811 , Gb 17 h 34665 , Gb 17 v 41952 , Ihu 17 S 079528 and Ihu 17 s 059020 due to minor injury or late returns . A basket list will be on both sites early tomorrow morning .

We have to apologise to you all today as due to a computer glitch the birds did not clock .We will treat today's Hotspot as a trainer and will hold Hotspot 3 from Navan on Thursday . Tonight we will put on a returns list as we have rectified the problem. Again we can only offer our sincere apologies.

Hotspot 3 from Navan will go ahead from Navan tomorrow Thursday 10th weather permitting .We have identified and rectified the problem we had with the computer on Monday . I will update both sites later this evening and again tomorrow morning with liberation information .Good luck to all competing .

Hotspot 5 Kilkenny Sunday 20/8/17 is postponed . Weather forecast whilst being ok at the home end is poor with rain in the South. Monday’s forecast is worse , so hopefully Tuesday’s weather is favourable . Stay tuned to both our sites for updates

Denis Gregg GB 17 c 07517 in 3rd today was 2nd from Navan Hotspot 3 . This fine youngster was bred off two pigeons that Denis bought at NCC sales . Aces Clampy x Fomula One Lofts .

Kieran has kindly supplied me with a pic of the winning syndicate and a short pedigree of today's winner and after reading it, horses for courses jumped into my mind...The sire and dam both came from the top lofts of Jimmy and Richard Hamilton. With the sire being a Cooreman and the dam a Cooreman, Soojten cross
A full sister to today's hot spot 5 winning pigeon was 4th open in last year's NCC Final, for Kieran and Charlie, so as i said horses for courses....i've slipped in a pic of last year's 4th open hen because as you can see ,she's a real pleasure to look at .....but will get a pic of today's winner sorted by the weekend ....

Congratulations to Kieran Galvin and Charlies Champions on winning the 5th hotspot race today in the North Coast Classic OLR .Kieran got a pair of my Cooreman birds from me a couple of years ago and they have done very well for Kieran and young Charlie .In last years North coast Classic final with very few birds clocked on the day Charlies Champions was 4th in the final winning a nice few pound for Kieran and young Charlie and Kieran sent another youngster from the same pair to this years race and in todays hotspot race charlies Champion won the 1st prize .Who said those Cooremans of Hamiltons were past it lol.Well done again Kieran and Charlie.

Our Pools are £2 , £3 , £5 , £10 and £15 . £5 and £10 noms . You can pool as many as you like in all pools . The noms are Split 60 /40 and the other pools are split 50 / 30 / 20 . . Anyone wishing to pool can contact me on FB messenger Adrian Moffatt or 07719877139 or in person at the lofts . No pool money will be accepted 4 hrs after liberation with no exceptions . Methods of payment are by cheque to Sean Diamond 20 Charnwood Park , Coleraine Bt52 1jz to arrive no later than last post on Saturday 2nd or into Sean’s Account Danske Bank Sort code 950679 acc number 00002895 . For those in Southern Ireland the I ban number is GB 92 DABA 95067900002895 .If at all possible could all monies be paid in sterling .All money must be paid into account before closing time Friday Ist .
