Sarsfield RPC Prizes 2017 -

Post by willie reynolds »

Congratulations to all the Sarsfield RPC members.

The club won the Irish South Road Federation club championship again this year with a staggering 17857 points.

The club has 50 members and its a battle every week to get any type of card and usually you have to be right at the top of the ISRF sheet to pick anything up. Some of the memorable achievements of the members include.....

Great flying again from M/M Sean Hunt & Fam who are overall average winners in the fed for the 3rd time on the trot and best young bird flyers for an amazing 5th time on the bounce.
They also won the best inland average.

Well done also to Pat Byrne & Fam old bird section C winner. Four fed toppers as well for the season.
Sean had a couple Dunmanway & Pilmore with Pat Byrne winning a Pilmore and new member having a brilliant first season in the club Derek Tierney winning the Castletown race in August.

Again the club has proved to be one of the hardest to win anywhere in racing.
Every week the birdage is huge and the competition fierce. Kevin Barry.
