Williamson & Calvin Transporter will be training each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Ardee, Slane and Navan starting Tuesday 7th July. Birds can be hampered the night before or up to 7.45am on morning of toss at 23 Farra Road, phone Ron Williamson Yard (028) 38 339320 or Mobile: 07841 762399. Collection Points as before: Annaghmore Clubrooms 8.00am, Ballyoran Hill 8.20am, Edgarstown 8.40am, Laurelvale HPS Clubrooms 9.00am, Markethill Corner 9.30am, Newry Corner 10.00am. PLEASE NOTE - Special Training every Sunday from Slane, Navan and Kildare, different collection times for Sunday.

Williamson & Calvin will have special training every Sunday for young birds from Slane, Navan and Kildare Birds can be hampered night before or up to 7.50am morning of toss at 23 Farra Road. Ronnie Tel: 07841 762399. Collection times will be different for a Sunday. Ballyoran Hill 8.00am, Edgarstown HPS 8.15am, Laurelvale HPS 8.30am, Markethill Corner 8.40am, Newry 9.05am. Training will continue each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Ardee, Slane and Navan. Usual collection arrangement.

Kenny Mallen (Banbridge) Training will continue with the young birds, collection at Coach Car Park and Newry. For more details Tel: 07737 521355. Early collections on Monday 13th July.

Fanciers Combine YB 2009

THE FANCIERS COMBINE – Having purchased a new trailer earlier in the season the Fanciers Combine Kick-Off their Young Bird programme on Wednesday 29th July with a race from Kildare. Ringing will be on Tuesday evening 7.30pm until 9.00pm open to all organisations. Racers 50p members only, Trainers £6 per crate (max 25 per crate). Each Race 1st - £50, 2nd - £30, 3rd - £20, One Cut of the £5 Nomination. The second race will be one week later on Wednesday 5th August, ringing on Tuesday evening 7.30pm until 9.00pm in the Edgarstown HPS Clubrooms in Portadown. An Open Race will take place from Roscrea on Wednesday 12th August with ringing once again on Tuesday evening 7.30pm until 9.00pm in the Edgarstown Clubrooms. Racers are £1 with prizes £100, £75, £50, £20, £20 and One Cut of the £5 Nomination. Trainers 50p and All Fanciers Welcome.
