ISRF are in Pilmore Beach for the 3rd race of the young bird season.

ECF (Dublin) are in Tramore again 2nd young bird race

SLF in Kinsale.

Mid Leinster Fed in Fermoy again this week for the 4th Y/B race

East Down Combine are in Navan.

The Bray Air Show starts on Saturday 28th. at 12.00 noon and ends on Sunday 29th.

The East Down Combine Weather Committee have decided to delay a decision on Hampering for this weeks race from Navan until Friday Morning.

NIPA Race Marking for Second Young Bird Race.

The race advisory committee have deferred making a decision on race marking for this Saturday’s race until Friday lunch time.

Weather reports received today (Thursday) indicated poor weather in Northern Ireland for most of Saturday. A final decision will not be made until Friday’s forecast for Saturday is checked out tomorrow morning.

We will update tomorrow (Friday) around 12:00 mid day when a decision on race marking will be known.

The EDC Weather Committee have decided NOT to hamper tonight for NAVAN. They will assess the weather again tonight for a possible Sunday Race.

The NIPA race committee have decided not to race-mark tonight Friday as weather forecasts are not suitable for releases on Saturday and will issue an update tomorrow Saturday at around 12 Noon.

ISRF PIlmore Beach - Beautiful weather at race point but rain in Dublin and on route. Next update 9.00am. 9,000 ISRF birds lib in Pilmore at 1-00pm in a west wind

East coast fed in Tramore liberated at 11.45am.

St Leinster Fed update on Kinsale. Pigeons have been liberated 12 o clock. Cleared well strike off time in Wicklow 4.30. All the best today.

The EDC will hamper tonight (Saturday) for a Race from Navan on Sunday normal collection time

The NIPA have decided to race mark tonight Saturday for possible releases tomorrow Sunday in your Area liberations, the forecast is good with sunshine and any rain will be south of release sites also anyone with any Coleraine, Derry or Strabane area birds please put them on transporter tonight and they will be repatriated thank you.

The NIPA have under advice from the Transport Manager decided to cancel tomorrows race due to the danger posed to the drivers by the condition of the roads with flooding in most places.


The prize money for all NIPA old bird Nationals and Classics etc is now ready and can be picked up in the office if you require it otherwise we will endeavour to send it out on transporters over the next week or so but would be more advisable if you could pick it up.

EDC Navan (2) - Liberation is not possible at present due to poor weather conditions, next update will be around 11.00am.
