She is off the best of their Lambrechts team, her sire bred a Mullingar 1st Open winner for Bertie Blair of Ballymena and her aunt bred J & M Milliken 1st Open NIPA Fermoy . She has now won 1st Club, 1st Mid Antrim Combine, 1st Sect B NIPA Roscrea,1st Club, 1st Mid Antrim Combine, 1st Sect B NIPA Dunmanway and 1st Club, 1st Mid Antrim Combine, 1st Sect B NIPA Dunmanway 5 Bird Championship.

As well as Dunmanway there was the duplicate 5 Bird Championship. Again this was won by R H Clements, the same pigeon winning both races on the day for a super double. The young Mealy cock was timed at 13.49hrs flying 246 miles for velocity 1778. The sire was from his top Vermeerbergen family of birds and the dam was from the Forbes Soontjens, winner is same way bred as 1st Sect Rosscarbery etc.

Cullybackey Centre arrangements - Money for Rosscarbery will be collected Wed 19th Sepember in Cullybackey clubrooms 8.30 to 9.30pm. The Seven Towers raced from Talbenny for the YB Derby in what was a very difficult race. Following on from their success last week in Fermoy of 1st Section B & 31st Open, Surgenor Bros of Kells took the Seven Towers first-ever National win when they claimed 1st Open, 1st Section B, 1st Seven Towers Championship flying 217 miles showing just how much good form the birds are in. This season has been a great season of racing for Surgenor Bros. Huge congratulations from all in the Seven Towers. All Birds have now been accounted for in the YB Derby.
