Open to Club Members & Sect B Only - Due To Limited Space.
Hi all would like to thank Frazers and Beattie’s for sponsoring the firsts 4 prizes in 3 classes each for our open show tomorrow in Muckamore hps. Also kells and district for loan of 160 pens which means we better of for pens that first thought. Total pens now at 263 which means we can host quiet a few birds. Light refreshment is available. Saturday 29th December saw Muckamore HPS hold their first open show in over 30 years. The event was very well supported and sponsorship received by both Frazer Feeds Banbridge and Beattie's Feeds Tandragee. Both sponsored 4 first prizes for the classes. Many thanks to all who sponsored the event and brought raffle prizes.
The show followed the usual 3 in 1 template used in other local open shows, with classes for Through the wires, handling, and eye-sign. Judges from Belfast included R and J Conlane, D Jackson, J Galbraith and E Soloman who completed a fantastic job using their respective experience.
Best in Show was awarded to Campbell Shaw from Randalstown and Reserve Best in Show awarded to the W and N Gilbert team from Ballymena who completed a fantastic show season. Well done to David Young, Ken Wilkinson and Alan Steele who made arrangements for the event.
Results: Young Bird T/W – 1st & 3rd W & N Gilbert, 2nd, HC & Commended K Wilkinson & Son, 4th & Reserve Sam Maginty, VHC Noel Lusty.
