Ulster Federation will hamper tomorrow night for a race on Saturday from Kildare.

The NIPA will racemark as normal on Friday for a possible release on Saturday in ROSCREA the committee have decided to move the racepoint from Gowran Park due to the very high possibility of high numbers of birds crossing Dublin Airport with the wind direction and speed forecasted for Saturday , the safety aspect of this is paramount and this will safeguard Gowran Park as a liberation site for us to use hoping this meets with your understanding in this decision being taken.

Unikon ETS Systems -
The NIPA committee have issued a ruling stating that the use of 2 loft clocks for timing of birds will NOT be permitted under any circumstances by anyone racing in the NIPA.

East Coast Federation - Race Marking Friday for a race from Tramore on Saturday.

East Down Combine decision will be made at 9.30am Friday.

ISRF Marking tomorrow for a race on Saturday.

The East Down Combine will Hamper as Scheduled Tonight (Friday) for this weeks race from Thurles.

NIPA Roscrea Update

The race controller wishes to point out that it is likely to be a later liberation tomorrow at around 1.00pm as Met Eireann have said that the worst of the bad weather should be easing down by that stage. The website will be updated tomorrow when more information is available.

Saturday 27/04/19

Irish SR Federation liberated at 10.00am in Mallow. Wind NW 11,000 birds.

East Coast Fed bird's have been Liberated at 10.30am in Tramore.

St Leinster Fed update on Kinsale pigeons liberated at 12 cleared fast into west st west wind, it will be fast race all the best today.

The NIPA have held over in Roscrea the weather that was to clear isn’t going to move soon enough we will update tomorrow morning.

EDC - Due to poor weather conditions liberation is not expected in Thurles until at least 12.30. Next update will be around 12.45.

The East Down Combine have Liberated in Thurles at 14.30hrs. Wind West North West.

ROSCREA UPDATE

The NIPA are in Roscrea this morning and we will update the website at around11.00am.

The race controller has informed us that a liberation looks possible in Roscrea around noon we will update at around noon when further information is available.

The NIPA have liberated at 12.00 noon in a light southerly wind

The service of pigeon line is NO longer available anyone with no other means of finding out liberation times should organise some means of receiving this information within their clubs.

A committee meeting will convene in the office this Tuesday evening the 30th at 7.30 sharp.

Would all clubs please ensure that your 1st 4 week payment is sent with the transporter this week as Fermoy is your 4th race any clubs failing to do so will NOT have their birds collected the following week also would all secretaries please use the correct envelopes for sending results etc to the office as information can be lost with it arriving in the wrong type of envelope.
