Seven Towers Championship

The latest race saw the NIPA re arrange the lib site from Castletown to Corrin with the possibility of release on Saturday morning, this would prove to be the case as the birds where liberated at 9.15am into a northerly wind. With some showers around the birds faced a more difficult day than maybe some are foreseen but the leading birds continued onwards and arrived just after the 5hr mark. Alan timed his blue cock flying 5 hours 2 mins and 32 secs to record a velocity of 1206.654, This would prove to be the Blue cocks 2nd time in the top 3 in the seven towers championship as this cock was 3rd in the Tullamore race a few weeks prior to this. Congratulations.

Just a small reminder that the Seven Towers Championship first money race will be this weekend from barley cove with £500 split over 7 prizes, as was stated this is for members who are solely competing in the seven towers either this season or last season. It will be split: 1. £150, 2. £100, 3. £50, 4. £50, 5. £50, 6. £50, 7. £50.

This will be run under the Seven Towers rules. If anybody has any queries, please feel free to get in touch with myself and I will be happy to help you as best I can. Jamie Greer Secretary.
