The NIPA have decided to continue with the top half and bottom half liberations this weekend instead of a mass liberation with the top half in Tullamore and the bottom half in Roscrea and there is a possibility of a Friday race. As soon as we are aware of when we will be race marking we will update the website. This decision has NOT been taken lightly and taken in the best interest of your birds.

Wednesday 31/07/19

Due to a poor forecast for Saturday and Sunday the ISRF will be race marking Thursday evening normal times for a race on Friday from Mallow.

This weekend the Ulster Federation will race from Thurles.We are trying to make arrangements for a Thursday night marking hoping for a Lib.on Friday in Thurles.I will have more information this evening. Paul Neeson. Ulster Fed will hamper on Thursday night for a possible race on Friday out of Thurles.

The NIPA have decided to race mark tomorrow Thursday for possible releases in your designated release sites forecast for Friday is good , a light east southeast wind high broken cloud with lots of sunshine.

The East Down Combine will hamper as scheduled on Friday Night for this weeks race from Tullamore.

Friday 02/08/19

NIPA Update - At present we have a band of fog across the border area but this should burn off and liberations will take place this morning.

The top half Sect B, C & pt A have been released in Tullamore at 10.00am and cleared well Sect F are due to be liberated at 10.30am.

Sect F have been released in Tullamore at 10.30am in a light east wind and cleared well.

Sect H have been released in Tullamore at 11.00am

Sect D E G & Pt A have been released in Roscrea at 11.00am


The Ulster Federation have liberated in Thurles at 11.00am.

Saturday 3rd August

East Down Combine - Due to poor visibility on route Liberation is not expected from Tullamore before 12.00. Next update will be around 12.30pm

Due to poor visibility on route the East Down Combine have held over in Tullamore.

Sunday 4th August

East Down Combine have liberated in Tullamore at 09.00 in a Southerly Wind.
