Post by willie reynolds »

The Ulster Federation will be in Skibbereen for our first derby please note hampering will be one hour early.

Thursday 22/08/19

We have some doubts about weather conditions for Skibbereen on Saturday. Sunday looks like a better proposition. More information should be available tonight from the Met Office. Marking will commence at the Grosvenor at 3.30pm.

The forecast for Skibbereen region on Saturday is unfavourable according to Met Reports. We will race mark on Saturday for a Sunday Liberation. Same times.

The NIPA race committee have decided to defer making a decision regarding race marking until 10.00am on Friday, at the moment it is unlikely a race will take place on Saturday, if Saturday isnt possible we will have to confirm the availabilty of the release site for Sunday.

The East Down Combine will Hamper as Scheduled on Friday Night for this weeks race from Fermoy.

Friday 23/08/19

The NIPA have decided due to the weather forecast in the release area not to race mark until Saturday for a possible release on Sunday. The forecast is for low cloud with drizzle in the Cork area and the West. The collections will be 1 hour earlier than normal and as yet we have not received confirmation that Fermoy is available when we do so we will update the website.

Fermoy has been confirmed as available for Sunday.
