On the weekend of Talbenny the NIPA also staged a comeback race from Tullamore 125 miles on Saturday 29th August when 29 members had sent 162 birds. With the west wind dominating velocities were well down but returns seemed reasonable. Taking the number one spot is the Derry Fed's top performer's Mr & Mrs Maxwell, just ahead of the Londonderry's Noel Murray who takes 2sd spot. Danny & Gary Cooley are in again with two in the result to claim 3rd & 6th. Sean Duffy has two in the frame for 4th and 14th while Dermot Friel the Fed's longest flyer puts up a great performance to take 5th.
