County Carlow is a very competitive Racing Pigeon Zone with 50 + Fanciers competing every week for honours.
Here is an opportunity to bring all the Pigeon Fancy of Carlow together on a small scale whilst not interfering with each clubs week to week business.
For the 2020 Old Bird season The Three Counties R.P.C has approached all 5 Pigeon clubs in Carlow and invited all members to take part in a “Two Bird Velocity Championship” .
The competition will be Run under the title
“ The Carlow Combined Pigeon Club’s “ #C.C.P.C.#
Terms and Conditions:
- No membership Fee. - No Federation Fee . - €40 Entry Fee for non
membership members of the L.P.C.C. ( €20 for Entry into the “Two Bird velocity Championship “ and €20 Convoying Fee for the 10 Inland Races.)
- €20 Entry Fee for members of the L.P.C.C.
- Only one Team of Four Pigeons can be entered from each loft.
- Team of Four Pigeons can only be made up of the following :
- One Old Bird and Three Yearlings
or
Four Yearlings.
- The Two Bird Velocity
Championship will be competed for over all the Inland Races on the Race Programme.
- INFC and IHUNFC National’s are exempt from this Championship.
- Two Bird Velocity Championship will start when the First Inland Race commences on the Programme 2020.
- Your Fastest Two Pigeons velocities each week will go towards your points tally.
- An update of all Fanciers velocities will be posted up each week after all results are received from each club.
- Baskets will be supplied to all clubs competing.
- Transporter will collect the Birds at each club.
- All Teams to be entered in either on or before the First Inland Race 2020.
- All the Entry Fees goes towards the Prize Money Payout.
- All Clocks MUST BE BANGED OFF ON DAY OF RACE.
- A copy of the clock print out sheets to be sent to the organisers after each Club has it’s Race Result Done.
- All Members of All the Pigeon Clubs in Co Carlow can Enter and are Welcome to compete in “The Two Bird Velocity Championship “.
