Liberations w/e 06/06/20 -

Last Saturday racing commenced in the Republic of Ireland with both Irish South Road Federation and East Coast Fed (Dublin) releasing birds in Thurles. It looks like the ISRF intend to have races both mid-week and at the weekend as well to catch up. The NIPA have set so far a five race inland programme starting with Tullamore, Gowran Park, Corrin (1) & (2) and Barleycove. Fermoy is not available and those races have been replaced by Corrin which is similar distance. After many weeks of sunshine we now have weather problems for this weekend. The current situation is we hope to race mark Sunday for a Monday liberation. The NIPA will not be in the Irish Republic before Monday 8th June.

The East Down Combine will commence racing on Saturday the 6th June from Tullamore. Weather Permitting.

Wednesday 03/06/20 -

The N.I.P.A. plan to start the 2020 racing season from Tullamore.

The race advisor has informed the management committee during this evenings Zoom meeting that weather reports indicate that Monday is the most favourable day to race, and race marking could take place on Sunday.

The race advisor will continue to check the weather reports and our next update will be on Saturday when further information on race marking will be available. Fred Russell N.I.P.A. Secretary.

Irish SR Fed will have their 3rd race of the year tomorrow from Mallow.

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided to delay a decision on hampering for Tullamore until Friday morning.

East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Due to poor forecast for Saturday this weeks race will take place on Sunday. Marking Saturday for a race on Sunday. Pick up time as usual.

The ISRF birds have been released in Mallow at 9.00am.

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided not to hamper tonight (Friday). A decision on hampering on Saturday night for a Sunday race from Tullamore will be made on Friday Night.

The East Down Combine will hamper on Saturday for a Sunday race from Tullamore Normal Collection Times. All Clubs should start Race Marking in good time to allow for the additional time required to follow the new race marking Protocol.

East Coast Fed (Dublin) have released in Thurles at 11.00am

Conditions at Tullamore are not suitable for a EDC Liberation at present. It is overcast and dull. Next update will be around 11.15am.

Ulster Fed going in Mullingar at 11.45am.

The East Down Combine have liberated in Tullamore at 12.00, wind North Westerly.

Due to a poor forcast The ISRF will mark Monday for a race from Castletown on Tuesday 9th June, treir 4th old bird rtace.
