Talbenny Breeder/Buyer race 2021 -

The Irish South Road Federation (ISRF) was formed in 1968 and currently has approximately 800 racing members/partnerships in over thirty clubs. The federation covers an area from Wicklow to Monaghan, with the majority of the members located in the Dublin region The weekly races have approx 8,000 to 14,000 birds competing in the inland races, and 2000 to 4000 approx birds competing in the six channel races. Depending on where the birds cross, they will fly between 60 and 100 miles approximately from England (the Irish Channel) and over 600 miles from France (St Malo) to Dublin. The ISRF has four 40 foot transporters with a carrying capacity of nearly 17,000 birds at 20 birds per crate. For all the latest News and Results on the Federation click here.

SRF breeder/buyer race , yb talbenny open 2021

Open to all members of the isrf
The race will take place from the yb talbenny open
Online sale will start on thursday the 25th of march and will run untill sunday the 28th of march ,the bidding will start at €25 per bird lot
All birds must be payed for within 7days of the end of the sale

Any member wishing to buy there own bird back can buy it back for a fixed fee of €50 per bird and the ring numbers and money for these birds must be handed in no later than the closing date after the sale
We hope to have min 10 payed prizes but that could increase to more payed prizes depending on wat money comes in ,the breeder and the buyer will both be gettin a 50% share of each prize money
The race will be run under isrf rules

The winner will also receive a framed diploma of the winning b/b pigeon kindly sponsored by eddie Barry

And lads if use could let any members from ur clubs know about the b/b that dont use social media ,as there is no problem them bidding on the phone or else buying there own back as I understand not every1 uses social media but in this crazy times it's the best way to run it for this year ,when things go back to normal in the following seasons we can have room sales every year ,

Irish SR Federation breeder/buyer details for 2021

Lads there is the isrf poster with info on the event for 2021 .
All money from auction must be payed within 7 days from the end of the sale ,any members who wish to buy there own birds back can just leave an envelope in sandyhill with there birds ring numbers and colour of the bird and money for rings they will be buying,and all money from auction can also be left in sandyhill no later than 7 days after the auction so that will be the first week in April.
There will also be a fed text sent out to all members of the isrf with info on b/b for those who dont use social media ,there is phone numbers on posters for myself,,thomas maguire and coner Whelan so any1 needs to phone with entrys for auction or to let us know about buying your own birds back feel free to ring or text info to any of the 3 numbers .
All money raised will be payed out at 50% to the breeder and 50% to the buyer , and there will also be a trophy for the winner and framed diploma that will be presented to the winners on the night of isrf prizegiving 2021. All money will be available for collection in sandyhill 7 days after the race is finished and checked .also thanks to Stephen Cunningham for doin the posters and eddie barry for framed diploma of winners ,we could also have a few sponsored prizes from the pigeon suppliers to add more prizes on the day but we will update that nearer the time and we hope to have from 10 to 15 paid prizes in this years race lads ,
