Info for NIPA Members - 19/04/21

The NIPA was founded in 1945 and it's membership was open to all members within Northern Ireland - We are one of the largest weekly convoying organisations in the UK. Presently we have approx. 100 clubs as members, with over 2,000 members. Birds competing each week can reach 25 to 30 thousand, depending on the race. The race programme starts in Ireland down to Rosscarbery and continues through Wales & England to Penzance, and the Premier OB Nat flown from St Malo (France).

Information for members 19th April 2021.

In the event of the General Licence and permits being issued this week which would allow mixing of pigeons in groups for training and racing purposes could members inform their club secretaries if they would be competing this weekend and with the number of pigeons they would be entering. This is to assist with arranging transporters.

Numbers would have to be confirmed by lunch time on Thursday to give time too arrange transport.

Centre / area collections will be put in place if numbers are not sufficient to warrant club collections.

Pigeons will have to be race marked under Covid -19 restrictions as set out by the N.I.Executive office at this time. Each club is responsible for insuring race marking is carried out in compliance with these restrictions.
