Marking for the IHUNFC National race from Valentia will take place tomorrow afternoon ( Thursday ) from 2pm till 5pm. In the Graiugecullen GFC. Please have race entry and total sheets ready along with the correct amount of money for the race. No change will be given. Birdage is €1.50 per bird plus station fee's.
ISRF Due to a poor weather forecast for Saturday there will be no race narking on Friday. Next update after the lunchtime Friday forecast. Henry Byrne & Mick Roche.
NIPA Liberation due for Saturday 14th August
Hi Everyone - I have just received notification from Jim Ramsay Race Controller that weather forecasts for Saturday are not favourable for a Release
We will not race mark to morrow Friday for a Release on Saturday. Weather conditions for Saturday are very poor for Southern Ireland not to bad For Northern Ireland

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided conditions will not be suitable for a race on Saturday from Horse & Jockey. Next update will be on Friday Night.

IHUNFC Birds have been liberated in Valentia at 10 am Valentia weather 13th Aug Wind at racepoint West 17kts. Turning Sth West 8kts further inland. Generally bright and sunny in most areas. A few light passing showers in Cork area. Temperature 16° to 18°.
ISRF - Forecast very unsettled further update this evening as early as possible. Henry Byrne.
Due to a poor forecast for Sat & Sun we will be marking on Sunday for a race on Monday weather permitting.
We should have raced today but I got it wrong so apologies to all. Henry Byrne.
From EDF (Dublin) Fed Secretary
Weather forecast for Sunday looks too poor for a liberation, so not marking tomorrow. We intend to race on Monday, forecast for Monday is good. Transport is booked to pick up Sunday evening. I'll update you tomorrow at 1pm when everything else is in place for confirmation of a race on Monday.

THE EDC Weather Committee have delayed a decision on hampering for Horse & Jockey until Saturday morning.

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided not to hamper tonight for Horse & Jockey. Next update will be on Tonight (Saturday).
The East Down Combine will hamper on Sunday Night for a Monday race from Horse & Jockey. The Mullingar comeback race will now move to Wednesday 25th August.

NIPA Gowran Park liberation update
HI EVERYONE - I HAVE JUST RECEIVED CONFIRMATION FROM THE RACE CONTROLLER THAT THE NIPA WILL RACEMARK TOMORROW SUNDAY FOR A RELEASE IN GOWRAN PARK ON MONDAY. FORECAST FOR MONDAY IS A NORTH WEST WIND AROUND 8 8MPH, THE BEST OF THE WEATHER WILL BE IN THE SOUTH ON MONDAY THE NORTH SHOULD BE MOSTLY DRY WITH THE CHANCE OF A SHOWER OF RAIN. REGARDING COLLECTION TIMES I WILL POST ON SITE IF THERE IS ANY CHANGES

8,500 birds will be liberated in Castletown at 12.30pm. Henry Byrne & Mick Roach.
East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Birds released in Castletown at 12.30pm. NW wind
The East Down Combine have Liberated in Horse & Jockey at 10:00 in a North West Wind.
THE NIPA HAVE RELEASED AT 10.45AM in Gowran Park THIS MORNING IN A LIGHT WESTERLY WIND.
