Irish SR FEd birds are in Clonmel -
Unfortunately at the moment I cannot liberate the birds in clonmel. But I am hopeful of a clearance around midday so I will update at 12pm . Henry Byrne.
Waiting for the conditions to improve at the race point update at 1.30pm.

Weather conditions 15.30pm and all day has being the same.
Unfortunately the weather is playing havoc on many pigeon races all over Europe and the UK.
Low cloud crossed with east in the wind and very poor visibility gives us no option but to hold birds over.
Weather reports from all down along the coast rite up the land was and is very poor.
Tomorrow's weather looks very promising for a race. We do understand the concerns with fanciers and we can assure that everything is being done to keep the birds cool and relaxed. Birds have been fed and have water in front of them all the time. Fans are on in the transporters.

Monday 06/09/21

9.40am big improvement on the weather in Clonmel.

Birds liberated in clonmel at 12pm weather at race point is very good visabilaty very good. some haze on line of flight near carlow /portlaoise weather very good in dublin light southerly wind Henry Byrne. 9500 birds liberated mick.

We would just like to say a very big well done and thank you from the fed committee and the members to our Liberator Mr Henry Byrne and our Convoyers Mick Warner and Wayne Sweeney for the fantastic job the did over the last few days.
With the weather playing havoc on racing and the birds held over for 3 nights some hard decisions had to be made.
Overall we had a fantastic race with good returns and most members are happy with the decisions made.
Nobody likes to see hold overs especially with young birds but the experience behind the lads paid off. Thanks again lads.
