Wednesday 27/04/22 - The NIPA race for the weekend is planned for Gowran Park. Another Bank Holiday weekend and a difficult forecast. Please send the results ASAP and include photos of winners when possible. Updates will follow.

Due to a very unsettled forecast for Sat and Sun we MIGHT be markin Thursday for a race on Friday update tonight after 9 pm forecast... Henry Byrne.
ISRF - Marking for Pilmore will be Thursday evening for a race on Friday. Normal marking times and pickup times.

ECF (Dublin) are marking Thursday for a Friday race from Pilmore Beach.

NIPA - Goran Park basketing will take place tomorrow for possible Friday release weather forecast for weekend not good. Jim Ramsey.

EDC - Important information for members concerning this week's race. Due to potentially adverse weather conditions over southern Ireland on Saturday the Combine committee has decided to hold this week's race from Cashel.

The Weather Committee has deferred a decision on basketing until tomorrow morning. Members will be informed by text message and via an announcement on the Combine website.

Members are asked to note - whilst the Combine is fortunate to have an excellent team of drivers and lifters, neither drivers nor lifters are available for a race on this or any Friday.

Weather Committee has deferred a decision on basketing

Due to the unsettled nature of weather over the next few days, the EDC Weather Committee has deferred a decision on basketing until more information is available. The EDC Weather Committee will meet again at 6pm today to consider possibilities for a race this weekend. Members will be informed of the Weather Committee's decision later this evening.

11500 ISRF birds will be liberated at 11am in Pilmore beach in a light east wind.

EDC Basketing for race from Cashel on Sunday 1 May 2022
Basketing for this week's race from Cashel to be held on Sunday 1st May will take place on Saturday 30 April.
Basketing will take place at the normal time on Saturday. Pickup from clubs will also take place at the NORMAL TIME.

NEW DATE FOR RESCHEDULED RACE FROM CASHEL

Following representations from Combine members, the committee has reviewed the latest weather radar and most uptodate weather charts and the committee is confident that a race can be staged from Cashel on Monday 2 May.

Drivers and Lifters have been consulted and are available to transport birds to the liberation site in Cashel.

Combine members are asked to note that birds will be collected 1 HOUR EARLIER THAN NORMAL.
