NIPA - This week’s race is scheduled for Fermoy it will be our fourth race of the old bird season and it is the Last Old Bird Race that you are able to purchase your own crates. A reminder for all clubs that this is week 4 and all payments must be received via the transporter on Friday evening. Even one payment missing holds up everything and all drivers will be informed to ensure they do not leave without your payment. As a member of any club, it is your duty to inform and remind your secretary and treasurer to pay this bill on Friday. Fred.

New Result System – Update - Every club has now signed up for the new Race Result system.

It is working well and a few issues still arise which with all your help will ensure the process is completed correctly and on time.

When you are ready to send your E-Mail to results@nipapigeons.co.uk please enter the subject field the Name of your Club the Number of Members and Birds competing in each section. Please do not enter this in the Template as this will mean that the result is rejected by the system. Without the above information, we are unable to upload your result into the system
Please check your result before sending it and make sure you do not send a result from a previous race.
Please check that the velocities sent for all members are correct. It is very easy to add 100 yards to a velocity
Please check all ring numbers are correct for each pigeon and that you do not duplicate any ring. Please provide the full ring number as well.
Please use the new template sent out last week if you still do not have a copy it is on a post on this site or e-mail me to re-send it.
The Deadline for submission is 08:30 pm. Any results sent after this time will not be included in the final result posted on this site.

NIPA Liberations - A recent picture circulating is a picture from previous years there is no decision on racing this week and certainly will not be a Friday race an update on when races inland usually occur is 2 nights beforehand. The date of the race i.e Thursday notification if Saturday race.

East Down Combine Update - Following a full consideration by the EDC Committee, this week's race has been moved to Mallow.

The NIPA will race mark tomorrow evening Friday for a possible release on Saturday wind direction Light Southerly

EDC birds will be basketed on Friday night for a Saturday race from Mallow

Saturday 07/05/22

EDC - -Weather conditions at the Mallow race point do not currently favour a liberation but they are improving. A liberation is expected later this morning. There are clear blue skies on the line of flight with light variable winds.

The NIPA is in Fermoy this morning. A release is not due before 10:30 and we will confirm once we get more information. Next weeks race will be from Corrin not Pilmore Beach. I will provide a further update later.

NIPA Fermoy - No decision has been taken yet next update at 11:30.

Fermoy - The NIPA have released in Fermoy at 11:30 window a light southerly wind.

The EDC has liberated at 11:45 in Mallow in a light southerly wind
