New Antrim Amalgamated, Ballymena & District, Ahoghill Flying Club, Rasharkin & Dist, Randalstown HPS and Kells & District. New officials are Chairman Robert Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2020 subject to change are £3.00 for Clubs that includes all members. Associate membership is also £3.00.

Danny Dixon wins 1st & 2nd Open NIPA Tullamore

The young bird racing season continued with the third race from Tullamore in County Offaly on Friday 29th July. The birds were released at 9.00am in light variable winds and a fast race was to follow. Danny Dixon of Dunloy had the best to birds in the Mid Antrim Combine and also topped Section B and took 1st & 2nd Open NIPA 17,775 birds velo 1727. Danny timed his winners at 11.15am flying 133 miles. The Open winner is a son of his good mealy Stickers-Donckers cock bred by Gary Gibson of Cullybackey and is out of Gary's "Golden Pair" This mealy cock is also the grandsire of McArdle's 1st Open NIPA Skibbereen YB National winner last season. The dam of Danny's open winner was purchased from Bob Fenech and is again Stickers-Donckers. Danny's 2nd Open winner a black hen is bred from two direct Gert Heylen birds. Nest best in the Combine was the brother and sister partnership of William & Jean McLean who were best in Rasharkin on 1723 and also won 1st Section A and 4th Open NIPA. They timed a Lambrecht cock bred by clubmate Mark Milliken. Trevor Whyte was best in Ahoghill on 1700 with a darkness chequer cock bred off Lambrechts birds from ace racers and breeders Paddy & William McManus of Ahoghill. Danny Dixon was again 5th Combine on 1695 followed by three birds for Harold Cubitt of Rasharkin placed 37th, 39th & 41st Open NIPA. Around the other clubs and Johnston Eagleson & Sons had the best four birds in both Ballymena & District and the Town. First two were timed on the same second. One was a blue cock from Harmony Lofts and is Ceuster coming down from Syndicate Lofts and the other a chequer pied cock is from a Heremans Ceuster x Van Den Bulck hen paired to a Lambrecht cock gifted to Johnston by Danny Dixon. Last weeks Combine winner Geoff Surgenor won Kells & District for the third young bird race on the trot. This week's winner has been placed 4th, 5th & 17th Mid Antrim Combine in the opening three races. Breeding is Van Rijn and is bred off birds from Crawford & Robinson of Larne. Stewart Bros had the best two birds in Randalstown and their second win in the young birds. Their winner Lambrecht x Stickers-Donckers, Sam Crawford 1st & 2nd In Harryville 1654 and Tom McAlonan best in Cullybackey on 1635 with a Van Loon youngster bred by Geoff Surgenor of Kells.
