Jeff Thompson - It is my sad duty to report the death of Jeff Thompson of Maze, Lisburn.Jeff formed the very successful partnership of Thompson Bros who raced very successfully in the Ulster Federation and N.I.P.A. gaining top positions in Opens,Derbies and Nationals.Jeff also ran a trailer for the training of birds for a number of years.Although not having raced for a number of years he still kept a small select team of stock birds and would rear YB,S for friends to race. Rest in Peace dear friend I will miss our chats over a cup of tea on a Monday morning when you arrived wanting to know who done the winning on the Saturday. Geoffrey Douglas PO.
