New Antrim Amalgamated, Ballymena & District, Ahoghill Flying Club, Rasharkin & Dist, Randalstown HPS and Kells & District. New officials are Chairman Robert Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2020 subject to change are £3.00 for Clubs that includes all members. Associate membership is also £3.00.

Combine Double for Paddy McManus of Ahoghill -

The Penzance and duplicated Old Bird Classic races were frown on Friday 17th June. Birds were liberation at 7.00am in southerly winds. Paddy & William McManus of the Young & McManus & Sons partnership in Ahoghill had the best bird winning the Mid Antrim Combine in both the ordinary Penzance and the Classic event. Their winning 4-year-old blue cock was timed at 13.46pm for the 328 miles to their lofts at The Croft. Sire is their best Van den Brande stock cock and dam their good Louis Thijs hen granddaughter of "Olympiad 003" That's 3 x 1st Combine and Section winners for the top racing and breeding lofts this season. Danny Dixon was next best clocking at 14.15pm in Dunloy followed by the Cullybackey winner Alan Darragh 14.09pm to his Swallow Brae Lofts at Galgorm. Houston Bros topped Randalstown for their first win of the season and Allen McBride won both races in Harryville with different birds. His Penzance winner was a yearling blue Lambrecht hen. Sire is "Blue Star" a winner of 1st & 2nd Section for Allen before being put to stock, and the dam a bird from Pat O'Neill of Carnlough. Allen's Classic winner was a 3-year-old blue hen that won 1st club & 3rd Combine from Gowran Park earlier in the season. Allen said all the credit for his winners over the last number of weeks has to go to his loft managers, namely his wife and daughter. He said they have done a great job and thanks them very much. A C & T Tweed were best in Rasharkin, last week’s Bude Open winner Sam Murphy again best in Kells & District and Johnston Eagleson & Sons were the winners in Ballymena & District. Sam Murphy Kells 1202 won the Mid Antrim Combine knock-out beating Gary Gibson Cullybackey 1104.

Danny Dixon 1371 won the Mid Antrim Combine Champions League for Rasharkin beating Sam Murphy Kells 1202.

Ballymena winner

Johnston Eagleson & Sons won both races with the same 2 year old blue chequer cock that won 2nd Talbenny. The sire was a red cock on loan from clubmate Bertie Blair and originated from Paddy & William McManus of Ahoghill. Dam was "Channel Queen" winner of 2 x 1st Combine's on the channel including 6th Open INFC Penzance YB Grand National for Johnston. "Channel Queen" was a Lambrecht hen bought in a kit of youngsters from Jackie Steele of Rasharkin.
