This was enough to see Marco in such a short space of time finish 5th Over-All in the Dutch National Sprint Champion Category against 25,000 Fanciers.

In the One Day Long Distance events BERT finished 3rd Champion Loft with some 1,800 lofts competing with results as follows:- 4th NPO Ablis 325 miles against 14,284 pigeons; 7th NPO Orleans 350 miles against 13,729 pigeons; 8th NPO Blois 375 miles against 8,803 pigeons; 11th NPO Bourges 6,798 pigeons and 10th NPO Chateauroux 425 miles against 646 pigeons.
