Posting this regrettably to inform you all of the passing of our club member and president Liam Mckillop who passed away yesterday morning at home with his family. First and foremost Liam was a total gentleman and was very well thought of by all who knew him. He was also a pigeon fanatic who never would miss a race hard days and all,every time I spoke to him the first words were about pigeons! He had some great yarns and stories about by gone days with the birds and the races, especially the French racing. Liam and Leroy had pigeons in the clock on Sunday from roscrea and it’s fitting he raced right until the end! The members would like to pass on there upmost condolences to Liam’s family, Leroy and the wider family circle at this time!
