Bude / Skibbereen racemarking update NIPA Office8 June 2023Uncategorised
The NIPA will race mark tomorrow Friday for a possible release in Bude on Sunday, please refer to earlier post re collection times at centres and collection points. The NIPA will also race mark on Saturday for a possible release in Skibbereen on Sunday these birds will be lifted at centres 2 hours earlier than times posted previously.
The East Down Combine Weather Committee & Weather Committee have agreed because of the poor weather forecast for South West Engand this weekend it is advisable to change the race point to Fermoy. Collection will be on Friday Night for a Saturday Race collection times as usual. The Fermoy race will not count for Combine Championships or averages, it will still count for an IHU Meritorious Award in Conjunction with 1st Talbenny. Open and Section & 5 Bird Nom Diplomas will be issued as normal.

ECF Liberated in Ownahince. Ulster Fed liberated in Fermoy.
Saturday 10/06/23
East Down Combine are in Fermoy. Conditions not improved, next update around Noon. As weather conditions at the the race point and on route have not improved the East Down Combine have held over in Fermoy.
ISRF are in Penzance and Skibbereen. Penzance held over. Skibbereen birds moved to Castletown.

Due to the race controller receiving a very poor forecast for Skibbereen tomorrow it has been decided to move the racepoint to Fermoy.
As the weather forecast for Fermoy tomorrow is uncertain and with the welfare of the birds in mind the East Down Combine weather committee have decided to move the Birds Roscrea. It is hoped with the high humidity & heat forecast for tomorrow the move to Roscrea will enable an early liberation.

The NIPA have released in Bude at 8.45am in blue skies and the wind was a light south.

The NIPA have liberated at 10.20am in Fermoy in really good conditions in a South southwest wind.
The EDC have liberated in Roscrea at 10.30am wind south easterly.

ISRF - Moved from Penzance to Talbenny. Due to adverse weather conditions the birds are held over in Talbenny. Henry Byrne.

ISRF Birds will be liberated in Talbenny at 9.30am. Henry byrne
