Thursday 15th June 23

As the weather forecast for Saturday is very poor the East Down Combine Weather Committee have decided NOT to hamper tonight for Penzance. Next update will be tonight (Thursday).

As the weather forecast for Sunday shows little improvement the East Down Combine Weather Committee have decided NOT to hamper on Friday Night for Penzance. Next update will be on Friday Night.

Penzance Racemarking Thursday 13th June

The NIPA will NOT race mark tomorrow Friday we will update further tomorrow evening but the forecast right through to Monday is not very promising. Regarding the Fermoy race on Saturday we will update on Friday morning.

Friday 16th June 2023

The NIPA will race mark today Friday for a possible release in Fermoy on Saturday. These birds will be collected at collection points and centres and any collection point/ centre not sending please inform the office to prevent any unnecessary journeys for the drivers thank you.

EDC - As the weather forecast for Monday shows little improvement the East Down Combine Weather Committee have decided NOT to hamper on Saturday Night for Penzance. The forecast for the early part of next week is also poor, therefore the committee have taken the decision to postpone hampering for Penzance until later next week. There will be further updates on the web site as more information becomes available.

Nipa 4th Fermoy NIPA Office17 June 2023
Conditions at the race point are very good conditions ahead do not suit for a liberation at present but this will improve we will update around 10.30am. Thank you Nipa Secretary Fred Russell.

The NIPA have released in Fermoy at 10.40am in good conditions in a South East wind, the birds cleared really well.
ISRF have released in Penzance at 10.30am.

The NIPA will race mark on Monday 19th June for a possible release in St Malo on Thursday, and mark on Tuesday for a possible release in Penzance on Thursday. We will keep you updated should there be any changes .

The East Down Combine intend to hamper on Monday the 19th June for St Malo, NOT Tuesday the 20th June as listed in year book. Collection times will be confirmed later.
