The McManus partnership of Paddy and William had the clear winner in Ahoghill on 1393 and also topped the Mid Antrim Combine for the third time this season. Their winning 5 year old chequer cock sent driving it's hen has won multiple Combine and Section prizes and is bred from their Louis Thijs line of pigeons. Ahoghill clubmates Jimmy Smyth & Son were runner up in the Combine on 1377 with a yearling cheq cock sitting eggs. Sire was from Danny Dixon and dam from Sam Murphy. Paddy & William McManus were again 3rd & 4th Combine on 1377. The 3rd Combine pigeon a 4-year-old dark cock was also 3rd Combine in the opening race of the season from Tullamore.
