Saturday 17th June 2023

The NIPA will race mark on Monday for a possible release in St Malo on Thursday, and mark on Tuesday for a possible release in Penzance on Thursday. We will keep you updated should there be any changes.

The East Down Combine intend to hamper on Monday the 19th June for St Malo, NOT Tuesday the 20th June as listed in year book. Collection times will be confirmed later.

The East Down Combine will Hamper on Monday Night for a Thursday race from St Malo, collection times will be as listed on the entry form. Hampering on Wednesday night for a Friday race from Penzance will be confirmed on Tuesday night.

Sunday 18th June 2023

Weather permitting the East Down Combine intent to Hamper on Wednesday 21st June for a race on Friday from Penzance. We will update as usual prior to race hampering.

Monday 19th June 2023

Would all NIPA secretaries please be aware that Penzance finishes your 4 week payments for the Old birds. Your bill will be for The ordinary Fermoy (the day of the 5 bird) , Bude , last Saturdays Fermoy and Penzance on Tuesday night. Please forward your payments in a transport envelope and NOT in your ets entries envelope thank you.

Wednesday 21/06/23

It seems that everything is conspiring against us this week. Fermoy is not available this week so we will be racing from Castletown instead. The forecast is improving day by day so an update will be sent out tomorrow evening. We are looking at a 7.00am liberation from St Malo in the morning this to be confirmed tomorrow morning. Thursday 22nd June 2023


The NIPA have released in St Malo at 6.30am in a light North wind. NIPA and all other Irish organisations have liberated at ST MALO 6.30am. Top winners should send info to their respective PO in the NIPA Jordan Hughes covers Sect C, D, F & G and Homer covers Sect A, B, E & H.

Penzance libbed 7.15am in light West wind.



NIPA Clock Checking info - Please post on site arrangements for clock checking these will be updated as the day goes on and we see arrivals from Penzance/ St Malo

If you have only pigeons race marked for Penzance Nipa Club Race, you can have your clock checked at your club, you will be able to find out running of times from your Club Sec.

DO NOT RUN OFF YOUR CLOCK AT YOUR CLUBROOMS IF YOU HAVE PIGEONS ENTERED OR TIMED FROM PENZANCE CLASSIC OR ST MALO

SECRETARY`S WILL NOT BE RETURNING A CLUB RESULT TO THE NIPA UNTIL THEY RECEIVE ALL THEIR MEMBERS RACE ARRIVALS FROM CENTRES

PLEASE DO NOT PANIC NO ONE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED

ST MALO IS THE PREMIER RACE TODAY AND THE 3 HOUR RULE WILL COMMENCE WHEN WE HAVE CONFIRMED ARRIVALS.

EDC are in Penzance, conditions not good enough for a liberation. Update around 10.30am.

The East Down Combine have held over in Penzance next update on Penzance will be tomorrow morning.

Saturday 24th June 2023

The East Down Combine have liberated in Penzance at 09.00am in a Southerly wind.

There are at an estimate 40 + birds clocked out of St Malo so far , best velocity we are aware of is S McFlynn of Castledawson on 1033 and therefore the provisional winner of the Old Bird National. Thank you Nipa Secretary Fred Russell.
