WE would like to thank on behalf of the complete Ireland’s Own Pigeon Auctions team a number of people who contributed in making the BHW Show of the Year yet another success in 2010. Firstly the Vendors who placed their faith with us for the Blackpool 2010 show, extended thanks also to the staff at three superb venues namely the Blackpool Football Club, The Cliffs Hotel and the Claremont Hotel all of which have been re-booked for 2011. We would also like to thank our excellent team of workers who traditionally never fail in whatever task they are set, their professionalism is a true example of what the Ireland's Own Pigeon Auctions strive to achieve at all times. Of course and more importantly, without the support of the fanciers no sale can be a success so on a final note I would like to thank all of you who attended over the course of the two days during the auctions and especially the many who came to introduce themselves and congratulate us on the professional and successful manner in which the sales were conducted. Adie McCormick & Willie Reynolds (Homer)

PS - All Vendors paid by Monday, thats important as well.

Many thanks to all friends and supporters following the Blackpool Experience of January 2011, all is done a dusted and next time it will be Olympic Year with many more records to be set in the UK. Blackpool and the Winter Gardens itself are under a big refurb, in another year a lot of that work will be complete. BHW have reported that attendance at the show was up on the year previous, as far as our sales were concerned the numbers at both the Blackpool Football Club and Cliffs Hotel remained on par with previous seasons. The recession will not be going away soon and we will do all we can to keep costs to the minimum. Some slots at our sale weekend have already been booked for next year, we will do our best to bring the best to Blackpool once again in 2012. Many thanks to all those who assisted in 2011, including Bert & Marco Braspenning, Gibb & Byrne and Gerald Delaney. HOMER.
