The Nipa have decided to continue with the race programme and this week`s race will be Gowran Park Weather forecast at the moment suggests Friday not suitable, Saturday 50/50 and Sunday looking the best day wind direction Fresh Southerly It is early days, and the forecast is more than likely to change.

Ulster Federation update we will hamper Friday night for a race from the Horse and Jockey on Saturday 19/08/23. Lee Wilson.

The NIPA race controller will not make a decision regarding this weekends race until Thursday evening as he is closely watching rain coming in from the west. Thanks you Nipa Secretary Fred Russell.

This Week's NIPA race is from Roscrea due to an issue with an airfield at Gowran Park. Race marking tomorrow Friday 18th for a possible release on Saturday 19th August.

The EDC will hamper tomorrow night as scheduled for a race from Roscrea on Saturday.

Due to a weather warning and in the interests of the members and drivers race marking will NOT take place today Friday we will further update later on regarding a possible Saturday marking for a Sunday liberation .

Saturday 19/08/23

East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Birds liberated in Fermoy at 10.00am

Ulster Federation update. Morning folks we are at the Horse and Jockey. we will be hopefully liberating in and around 12 today. we are waiting on the rain and murk clearing on route and the winds will have eased off by 12. I will update you all again around 12. Lee Wilson.

The Ulster Federation has let go in the Horse and Jockey at 12 o'clock good luck today everyone.

East Down Combine birds are in Roscrea update later.

The Weather at present is not suitable for a Liberation in Roscrea or on route but conditions are expected to improve later in the morning. Next update will be around 11.00am.

The Weather conditions have improved greatly but are not yet suitable for a Liberation. Next update will be around 12:30.

The NIPA have released in Roscrea at 8.15am in really good conditions with a light Southerly wind.

Birds Lib in the IHU Nat Flying Club Valentia at 8.45am.
