Young Bird Average.
The Ballymena & District loft's of K & K Kernohan & Sons had a top young bird season racing in the Mid Antrim Combine and finished the year with the young bird average and the Champion young bird of the year award with their blue hen "Happy Days". Keith and his son's Callum and Lewis were placed in the top 20 of the Combine in every young bird race starting with 1st Combine in the opening one from Kilbeggan and finishing with 1st Combine in the final race of the season from the Skibbereen young bird National when the loft also won 2nd Section B & 12th Open Nipa 266/2633 with their blue cheq hen "Swifty LOL" A Willy Jacobs purchased from the Oroory Hill Stud
