On the best weekend of the year racing started for the NIPA who released in Tullamore County Offaly at Noon last Saturday, first reports are for an excellent race and fantastic returns. Best reported over the weekend is Brendan Corley in Monaghan where we had a lot of early birds and then a big batch up into Derry City with the best bird timed yet again by Mr & Mrs Paul Maxwell of the Foyle.

The East Down Combine season started in Mullingar with the birds released at 10.30am on Saturday 10th April, the wind was Lt South. Roy Irwin from Dundonald had 1st & 2nd in the West Sect and finished 3rd & 4th Open, winning velocity was 1564.
