Dear Fellow Fancier/s,
I am sure that most of you are aware that I have now been organising a "TRIP OF A LIFETIME" to South Africa for the last 16 years and this year will be my 17th year and all fanciers and friends that have travelled out in the past have had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience of being in South Africa for The Biggest & Greatest One Loft Pigeon Race in the world today. Many fanciers/friends have in fact travelled out numerous times, mainly because they enjoyed themselves so much.
This year I advertised my "TRIP OF A LIFETIME" a bit earlier than usual and this was advertised in the "British Homing World" and "The Racing Pigeon" on 7th September 2012. These adverts showed the full itinerary and the South African Rand price at that time, which was 10.87 to the Pound. Since then the exchange rate has been steadily rising and it recently reached over 14 to the Pound. We advertised the price at that time, plus mentioned that if the Rand exchange rate continued to rise, the cost of this trip would come down as we had agreed to pay in South African Rands.
The original "TRIP OF A LIFETIME" was advertised at ZAR 24,850 or approx. £2,286 per person on a twin sharing basis.
The great news from and English fanciers point of view is that now because of the increasing South African Rand exchange rate this "TRIP OF A LIFETIME" will still cost ZAR24,850 but this on a 13.50 exchange rate bring the price down quite dramatically to £1,841 per person. A SAVING OF £445 PER PERSON.
I am sure that all concerned will now realise that this "TRIP OF A LIFETIME" represents fantastic for money and hopefully if you have not already booked your trip with us, you will do so shortly.
All I need at the current time is a £230 non-refundable deposit per person and then I can go ahead and get your hotel accommodation and your return Economy Virgin Atlantic Flights booked asap.
The balance after you have paid your deposit/s needs to be paid directly to the Travel Company before 15th DECEMBER 2012.
For those fanciers/friends that wish to travel out on their own we have also managed to secure a superb Single Room supplement rate for the whole 8 night trip. Please apply for rates if you are genuinely interested.
Once my allocation of hotel rooms and Economy Virgin Atlantic Return Flights are used up, then prices will start to increase as we are already finding out that the 5 star accommodation in the O'REALE GRANDE HOTEL in EMPERORS PALACE are already at a premium.
ALL PLACES WILL BE SOLD ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. SO IF YOU ARE GENUINELY INTERESTED THEN PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME ASAP.
If you still have pigeons left in this great race, then I wish you every success during the 2012/13 race series and I hope that we can all "FLY THE FLAG FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM".
WHY NOT JOIN MY GROUP AND ENJOY A GREAT HOLIDAY IN THE SUN AND SEE THE WONDERFUL SOUTH AFRICAN COUNTRYSIDE, PLUS ENJOY THE SUPERB SOUTH AFRICAN HOSPITALITY DURING YOUR STAY IN PARADISE.
Full 3 page advert and itinerary are attached to this email so you can study what actually is on offer.
Best regards and I await your reply with interest.
Yours in sport,
Paul.
