" BREAKAWAY DAN TOPS THE FED "
The Ulster Federation were in Kildare for their second race of the old bird season . The birds were liberated on Saturday 27/04/13 at 10.30 am into a light northerly wind . At the time of going to press the likely winners of 1st & 2nd Open Ulster Federation Kildare are the Fortfield partnership of P & C Carson . They had two birds arrive together and first through the trap was a yearling pencil blue cock , a gift from good friend Ian Gill , last season . Bred from Ians top Staf Van Reets , the latest Fed Winner has been named “ Breakaway Dan” . Their 2nd placed bird was a Hartog cock bred from stock from Gary Shaw & Roy Irwin . Congratulations guys on your recent top success .
